Should Valentine’s Day make me more acutely aware of my loneliness?
It doesn’t. I don’t think it’s possible for me to be more aware of it. It’s not like you wake up one day thinking: “oh everyone else is expressing love, this reminds me of my loneliness.” By its insidious nature your very existence should remind you of loneliness in a compounding, unrelenting manner.
But how can you be lonely while the inside of your own mind is infinite?
